i saw it

The movie opened last night and I went to see it with my friend Mary. I think I was one of eight guys in the theatre. It was packed with middle-aged women (who all think their groups of friends are just like the girls in the movie).

I really liked the movie. I wasn't really huge into the tv show, but I watched most of them. Honestly, the movie was really depressing. Aaaannd, I felt like I was watching Cinemax after Midnight. My god, the nudity! Haha. I sound like an old prude, wtf?!?

It's crazy how certain movies are "events". Sex and the City, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. I also find it interesting that SATC had a poor critics review, but is expected to finish #1 for the opening weekend, beating Indian Jones.

Weekend Plans

I'm in the home stretch for college graduation, round two. I have two weeks to finish my projects, portfolio(s), final exams, and readings. It's so close, but so far away!

Work keeps getting in the way of my schooling. All-day shoots are killing me! Tomorrow, I'll be here:

Sunday is the Ohio Associated Press' Awards Luncheon. I'm nominated for Best Documentary in a Small Market. I'm getting ready to head to Columbus to stay the night with a friend.

Lazy little weekend. Sometimes that's what you really need!

i seriously screamed and laughed so loud at this part. well, really the whole episode was pretty damn good!

dropbox, baby

This is awesome. It allows you to share files with another person who also has Dropbox installed. It works between Macs and PCs. I use it with friends, and I use it to share files between multiple computers. I highly recommend this app.

what a bitch

it's been a month

my apologies. it's been a month since my last post. quick recap:

-got pneumonia. laid on couch for a week watching tv and movies.

-traveled for a few days for work shooting interviews for documentaries. 

-attend classes, make up exams, do countless hours of homework I fell behind on.

that's about it.

graduation is June 13 at 9:30am. I have 2 major projects, 2 major portfolios, and several chapters of reading to do before then. Yes,  its May 22. Yes, I'm freaking out.
